For its flagship Oolong and premium Ceylon tea lines, our client required a distinctive packaging solution tailored for the high-end Middle Eastern and Gulf regional markets. We designed and manufactured this iconic square tin series—combining rich emerald green tones with luxurious gold rims—to deliver a regal shelf presence while providing maximum climate protection for delicate loose-leaf teas.
Project Overview
The main challenge was creating a versatile packaging format that meets the high aesthetic expectations of Middle Eastern consumers while supporting multi-language distribution (Arabic, English, and Cyrillic) across cross-border trade routes. Additionally, the region’s high temperature and humidity levels called for superior sealing to protect tea leaves from moisture and aroma loss. Our team engineered a robust, stackable square tin structure with a metallic gold-rimmed slip lid to deliver both luxury appeal and functional preservation.
Packaging Solution
Material: Premium 0.23mm–0.25mm food-grade tinplate, providing an opaque, light-proof barrier to preserve tea aroma and freshness.
Structure: A classic square tin canister featuring smooth rounded corners, a sturdy double-seam bottom, and a snug-fitting top slip lid for effortless opening and tight closure.
Color & Printing: High-definition multi-color offset printing featuring deep emerald green gradients, sharp multi-lingual typography (Arabic, English, and Russian), and vivid product graphics.
Finish & Metallic Accents: An exquisite combination of vibrant gloss varnish and exposed metallic gold plating on the top lid and bottom rim, accentuating a high-end “gift-grade” Middle Eastern aesthetic.
Internal Coating: Lined with food-grade clear/gold protective lacquer to prevent oxidation and ensure strict food safety standards.
